Ramsey Grammar School is a remarkable school — that's what we've been told by many people! With consistently outstanding results, a community to be proud of and an ethos that embraces a love of learning and personal development, we are happy to accept this accolade. RGS opened on the present site in 1946, possibly the first comprehensive school in the British Isles, and it serves the North of the Isle of Man. It is situated in a tranquil setting on the outskirts of Ramsey, a picturesque seaside town with a working harbour, and has some breathtaking views across the hills and valleys of the island. We are a community school and our diverse curriculum, our unique learning opportunities and our strong relationships with those we work with all combine to create the heart of a very happy and successful school.
